 Faire ses courses la première fois à Bali peut être un peu bouleversant. Vous trouverez des minimart tous les 200 mètres et des supermarchés tous les kilomètres en fonction de la zone où vous vous trouver. Vous croiserez un nombre considérable de magasins, marchés, roulottes, épiceries sans parler des nombreux Circle K, Indo Market, Alpha Market, Mini-Mark ouvert 24h/7d. Aussi, si vous souhaitez de plus grands supermarchés, vous trouverez Pepito, Popular, Coco Mart, Bintang et même un Carrefour situé sur la Sunset Road à Kuta.

Vous trouverez certains produits internationaux dans les plus grands d’entre eux, à des prix parfois abusifs. On remarque vite que les prix varient beaucoup d’un supermarché à un autre avec parfois de grandes différences. Dans certaines petites supérettes, les prix ne sont pas affichés et le prix fixé par le vendeur se fait à la tête du client.

Cependant, vous vous rendrez compte qu’il est parfois plus intéressant et profitable de manger dans les différents restaurants (warung par exemple).
